This week’s quote if from the novelist Agatha Christie:

“I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow; but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.”

Not everything is rainbows and kittens. It’s good to ground ourselves and acknowledge we don’t always feel good about the world or ourselves. To Shadow Cast isn’t about dropping the uncomfortable or painful parts of life. But rather to experience it all and even in the hard times know that being alive is a grand thing.
